Bound book of poems, annotated. Fair copy (holograph?) made apparently to present to the dedicatee, "Madame la Comtesse Blanche Uggeri de la Somaglia" (Somaglia, Bianca Uggeri Capece della, 1743-1822, of Piacenza). The volume includes social verses with semi-biographical notes on the Parisians who inspired them and their own poems. There are also some political allusions.

The entries for the purchase and sale of lambs, lambskins, pigeons, timber and grain are dated 1645-1650 and establish the location as the Puglia region of Italy. Written in northern Italian vernacular in a variety of scripts and by different hands over several decades. Records land and family transactions in villages surrounding Friuli, including: Buin, Coloreto, Amelia, Pavia, Pagna, Nels, Artegna, Pers, Feletto, Udine, Carnia, Codroipo, S. Lorenzo, and Blauso.
